BTS's Jin is continuing to prove his unparalleled solo power as his second mini-album, 'Echo,' and its title track 'Don't Say You Love Me' continue to shatter records in 2025. The superstar's music is creating a massive musical ripple effect, with his title song once again demonstrating its immense popularity by smashing another major streaming milestone, according to a report from Xports.
A year of Spotify dominance
'Don't Say You Love Me' has become an unstoppable force on Spotify, the world's largest music platform. As of November 8, the track had rocketed past 628 million streams. This comes after it officially crossed the 600 million stream mark on October 26, becoming the first and fastest K-pop song to achieve this feat in 2025. The song was also crowned the most-streamed K-pop song of the year on Spotify back on October 18, and it spent over 100 days in the platform's Global Top 10, a first for any song by an Asian artist in 2025.
The resounding success of 'Echo'
It's not just the title track that's making waves; the entire 'Echo' album has been met with global adoration. On the album, Jin showcases his versatile and beautiful vocal tone, effortlessly moving between high and low notes across seven tracks, four of which he co-wrote himself. The album's success is further cemented by its record-breaking run on the Billboard charts. 'Echo' became the first and only 2025 K-pop solo album to spend more than 22 weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart.
America's best-selling K-pop soloist
Jin's dominance extends deep into the U.S. market, where he holds multiple prestigious records. He currently boasts the most No. 1 songs (a total of seven) in the history of the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. Furthermore, based on pure album sales, Jin stands as the best-selling K-pop solo artist in the United States for 2025, proving his immense and enduring global appeal.
