NEW DELHI: IIM Kozhikode has released the CAT 2025 results, confirming that 12 candidates have secured a perfect 100 percentile. Of these top performers, nine are from non-engineering backgrounds, showing that candidates from different academic streams have featured prominently at the highest level of the exam.If you took the CAT this year, these results give an idea of the next steps. Out of these, 10 are male and two are female. Three have studied engineering, and the remaining nine are from non-engineering streams. These top scorers represent eight different states, with Delhi contributing the highest number of candidates.

Candidate participation and gender dataOut of 2.95 lakh registered candidates, 1.10 lakh were female, 1.85 lakh were male, and nine were transgender. Among the 2.58 lakh who actually appeared, 0.97 lakh were female, 1.61 lakh were male, and nine were transgender candidates.Category-wise distributionAmong registered candidates, 65.76 per cent were from the General category, followed by NC-OBC at 17.82 per cent, SC at 8.78 per cent, EWS at 5.26 per cent, and ST at 2.38 per cent.
PwD candidates across all categories made up 0.49 per cent. For those who appeared, General category candidates were 65.32 per cent, NC-OBC 18.52 per cent, SC 8.34 per cent, EWS 5.59 per cent, ST 2.22 per cent, and PwD 0.47 per cent.Next steps for admissionsThe IIMs will release their individual shortlists for the next stages of admission based on CAT 2025 scores and their own criteria. Additionally, 93 non-IIM institutions will use CAT 2025 scores for admissions to management programmes. Candidates should check the official CAT website on a regular basis for updates to confirm that the institutions they are applying to are registered with the CAT 2025 centre.
