The sleuths of the Organised Crime wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested a 30-year-old drug peddler and recovered a country-made pistol, along with four rounds of ammunition, from him, recently.
The accused was identified as Roshan Ahmed, a resident of BTM layout.
Based on a tip-off, the sleuths caught him. Before being caught, he was allegedly preparing to commit a crime near the Indian Oil Petrol Bunk at Suddaguntepalya.
Upon interrogation, Ahmed reportedly revealed that he was involved in peddling drugs and purchased the illegal pistol and ammunition from a person in Madhya Pradesh. He reportedly confessed that he used the weapon to threaten his rivals in order to continue his illegal business smoothly.
