Centre assigns CIIL Director additional charge to Basavaraja Kodagunti

The Union Ministry of Education has entrusted additional charge of Director of the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru, to Basavaraja Kodagunti who is Professor and Chief Vigilance Officer at the Central University of Karnataka.

According to an office memorandum issued by the Department of Higher Education, Language Division, Prof. Kodagunti will, as an interim arrangement, discharge the duties of Director of CIIL in addition to his present responsibilities. The order became effective on Wednesday.
