Carlos Alcaraz doesn’t just win Grand Slams — he makes them permanent.

Fresh off his 2025 US Open triumph, the world No. 1 has kept his promise by adding two new tattoos to his growing collection: the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge.

The fresh ink, unveiled on social media over the weekend, cements New York City’s place in Alcaraz’s personal hall of fame.

The 22-year-old Spaniard made the vow after defeating rival Jannik Sinner in a four-set US Open final, their third straight Grand Slam showdown. That night, Alcaraz dyed his hair platinum blond and announced his next move.

“I had a bet at the beginning of the tournament," he said. “The Brooklyn Bridge. And obviously the Statue of Liberty. I’m gonna do both. And the date."

Promise made. Promise kept.

Alcaraz returned to his trusted tattoo artist, Ganga, and shared photos of the process in an Instagram post captioned “my week lately." The tattoos now join a collection that has grown alongside his trophy cabinet.

Marking milestones with ink has become tradition. His first US Open title is honored with the date “11.09.22." Paris earned him an Eiffel Tower. Wimbledon brought a strawberry. His mantra — cabeza, corazón y cojones — sits proudly among them.

Now, New York gets its own tribute.

And Alcaraz already knows what comes next. If he ever conquers Melbourne, he’s ready.

“A kangaroo," he’s said. “For sure."
