Chandni Bhabhda talks about working with 'sweet' Ananya Panday and 'hardworking' Kartik Aaryan in 'Tu Meri Main Tera...'

Content creator Chandni Bhabhda, best known for her sharp celebrity mimicry videos, is slowly carving a space for herself in mainstream Hindi cinema. After gaining online popularity for her impressions of actors like Ananya Panday and Alia Bhatt, Chandni made her big screen debut in 2025 with Dharma Productions’ ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’.

She played Ananya Panday’s sister in the film and drew attention for her natural screen presence and timing.

Bonding on set and a Disney princess compliment

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Chandni spoke about her experience working closely with Ananya Panday and shared details about their off-screen equation. Describing Ananya, Chandni said, “She is extremely sweet and a darling. She is very beautiful. When you see her in person, her skin glows. She looks like a Disney princess.”Bhabhda recalled how their bond grew during the shoot. “We had a fun bonding; we used to sit together and talk about random things. Kartik and Ananya even pranked me once,” she said. Chandni also revealed that she mimicked Ananya in front of her on set, something she had done many times online. “She is pretty chill. I even did her mimcry in front of her once. She was like Arey Chandni, everyone does this one, you show me something else,” she shared.

Chandni added that Ananya kept things simple on set. “She is like very sorted. She reads her books on set when she gets time,” she said, offering a glimpse into the actor’s working style between takes.

Praise for Kartik Aaryan’s dedication

Chandni had equally warm words for her co-star Kartik Aaryan. Speaking about his work ethic, she said, “Kartik is also an extremely hardworking guy. Nobody knows when Kartik sleeps because he is a crazy, mad person who is constantly working.”Bhabhda highlighted how involved he was during the shoot. “He will take care of everybody on set. He’s extremely sweet and a proper gentleman. He makes sure you are comfortable on screen,” she said. Chandni also recalled moments when Kartik encouraged her after scenes. “He gives compliments like Chandni yeh scene tune mast kiya tha. He tells you how you can improvise.”Bhabhda also revealed that Kartik continued working despite being unwell.

According to Chandni, he shot even while running at a high temperature, showing a level of commitment that left a strong impression on her.Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s rom-com 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Mer'i released in theatres on Christmas 2025 but got a lukewarm response despite the long weekend. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video, confirmed in the opening credits. The expected OTT window is 5–19 February 2026, though no official date is announced.
