Check your voter status: Jharkhand CEO advises out-of-state voters to confirm their names; Assistance available via helpline 1950

Ranchi: During a meeting with deputy electoral officers of all districts, Jharkhand chief electoral officer (CEO) K Ravi Kumar on Friday said that voters from other states whose names were not included in Jharkhand’s voter list during the last electoral roll revision, can search their names in the respective state’s voter list and contact their booth level officers.The CEO further added that the voters can seek assistance by calling 1950 to find their own or their family members' names in the last thorough revision.“The voter list from the last thorough revision is available in a searchable format on the Election Commission of India’s website. In preparation for the thorough revision of the electoral rolls in the state, voters are being mapped with the current voter list from the last thorough revision on the BLO app,” the CEO said.
