What does the study say?According to a study titled Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) Polyphenols and Their Nutraceutical Value against Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome, coriander seeds contain polyphenols and flavonoids that act as antioxidants and reduce inflammation. These properties help protect against chronic diseases like neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and arthritis by neutralizing oxidative stress. Another study states that coriander seed extracts have shown potential in reducing obesity, dyslipidemia, and metabolic syndrome by lowering cholesterol, triglycerides, and improving lipid profiles.
