Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed grief over the sudden passing away of BJP leader and former MLC Magam Ranga Reddy (68), who succumbed to a heart attack on Wednesday. The Chief Minister prayed for the peace of his soul and extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
BJP State unit president and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender, and other BJP leaders expressed shock and offered condolences to the family.
Expressing her deepest sympathies to his family, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Seethakka recalled Mr. Ranga Reddy’s active involvement in progressive movements during his student days.
Mr. Ranga Reddy, a close aide of former Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, was elected as an MLC under the MLA quota from the Congress. His funeral will be held in Shamirpet on Thursday.
