Collector seeks error-free, timely digitisation of voter enumeration forms

Visakhapatnam Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore highlighted the need for accurate and timely digitisation of enumeration forms collected during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls on Monday, instructing Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers to ensure that all collected forms are uploaded to the designated portal without delay.

At a review meeting held at the Collectorate, Mr. Kishore assessed the progress in the appointment of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs), as well as the distribution, collection, and digitisation of forms. He also said BLOs engaged in revision work should not be assigned unrelated duties.

Mr. Kishore also called for coordination among government departments and directed field staff to update records relating to deceased, migrated, and duplicate voters, as well as voters shifted to other polling stations.

He asked officials to complete the exercise before the deadline ends on July 14.
