A city court has fined the parent of a minor for allowing the boy to ride a two-wheeler in Mysuru.
During routine patrol on Thursday, PSI K.S. Ganesh noticed a minor riding a two-wheeler within the limits of the Krishnaraja Traffic Police Station.
The parent was summoned to the police station and served a notice. The 2nd JMFC Court imposed a fine of ₹25,000 on the parent for permitting a minor to operate a motor vehicle.
A release issued by the office of the Commissioner of Police, Mysuru, warned that action will be taken against parents if they allow their minor children to operate their motor vehicles.
