CreamCollar EduTech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the TN Apex Skill Development Centre for Automobile (TN Auto Skills) under the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) to develop a future-ready workforce for the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution.
This collaboration will equip engineers with emerging skills in AI, automotive electronics, Virtual Twins, cyber security, product thinking and systems engineering, reinforcing Tamil Nadu’s position as a global automotive product innovation hub.
As part of its academic collaboration initiative, CreamCollar will establish a Centre of Excellence (CoEs) for Software-Defined Vehicles in academic institutions and innovation hubs. These CoEs will emphasise applied R&D, faculty training, and hands-on product engineering programmes that bridge academia and industry.
TN Auto Skills, a flagship TNSDC and ASDC initiative, focuses on industry-aligned upskilling, curriculum modernisation, Global Consortium Alliance for Automotive skills development, and the creation of centres of excellence to ensure Tamil Nadu’s continued leadership in automotive product innovation and manufacturing.
Tamil Nadu — celebrated as the “Detroit of Asia” — is home to leading automotive and component manufacturers, contributing 21% of India’s passenger car production, 33% of commercial vehicles, and 35% of auto components. The State also contributes nearly 40% of India’s EV output, supported by over ₹50,000 crore in expected EV and e-mobility investments by 2025.
