A Cyberabad police constable has earned national acclaim after securing five bronze medals across three consecutive All India Police Sepak Takraw Championships. Constable N. Manoj Kumar of the City Security Wing represented Cyberabad police in the sport with consistent distinction between 2022 and 2025.

Sepak takraw, a demanding south-east Asian sport, requires players to strike a woven ball over a net using only their feet, knees, chest and shoulders, relying on agility, balance and acrobatic reflexes. Officers said Manoj Kumar’s performance in the 71st championship in Jalandhar, the 72nd in Nagpur, and the 73rd in Madhuban, Haryana, reflects sustained discipline and skill at the national level.

He won medals in both the Men Team and Men Quad events, placing Cyberabad police on the national sepak takraw map.
