Cyient Foundation in association with ICT Academy will roll out an entrepreneurship development programme to empower 2,000 students across engineering, arts, and science institutions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The programme is designed to equip young minds from tier-2 and 3 cities with entrepreneurial skills and industry exposure through a structured three-stage programme spanning awareness, intensive training and mentorship, the CSR arm of IT firm Cyient said in a release on Wednesday.

Over the course of 12 months, the programme aims to build entrepreneurial capacity through awareness sessions for 2,000 students, followed by hands-on training for 1,000 selected participants. Top 100 students will receive two months of personalised mentoring and business facilitation, including guidance on fundraising, compliance, leadership and go-to-market strategies.

“We aim to nurture a generation of confident, capable and socially conscious entrepreneurs from the grassroots,” said Krishna Deevi, head-CSR of Cyient. Cyient associates will contribute as facilitators and mentors.
