‘Dacoit’ teaser: Makers give an intense glimpse into Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s world of revenge and betrayal

The makers of the upcoming film, ‘Dacoit’ starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in action-packed roles, have shared the teaser of the film. Ahead of the film’s release on March 19 next year, the makers have now shared a 1-minute 30-second teaser that gives a glimpse into the world of ‘Dacoit’.

The teaser opens with some churning music, with Adivi Sesh speaking on a phone call with someone. He seems to be discussing manipulating Mrunal Thakur’s character to do a task. He is seen saying, “They messed with you, so what’s wrong in messing with them?”.

They show Mrunal Thakur looking tense right before a task. Both are seen masked, sitting in a car with Mrunal Thakur at the steering wheel, when suddenly their car bashes.

Next shot shows Adivis Sesh inside the prison and breaks out of there and now seems to be looking for revenge.

Interestingly, the teaser also includes a popular song, ‘Kanne Pettaro’ from Nagarjuna’s ‘Hello Brother’, which plays in the background during action scenes.Sharing the teaser on the maker’s X handle, actor Adivi Sesh, who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, wrote, "The #DacoitTeaser is HERE. BOOM. #DACOIT."

Earlier glimpses from the film showed Mrunal Thakur’s character is named Juliet. A voiceover in the teaser speaks about betrayal and pain, only for Adivi Sesh’s character to deliver a chilling line from prison: “I’m here to destroy you.”

The makers describe Dacoit as a story of love, loss, betrayal, and revenge. The film promises a mix of romance and raw action. Apart from Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the movie also stars Anurag Kashyap in a powerful role, along with Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla.The film has been shot simultaneuosly in Telugu and Hindi.
