Dana White confirms three major title fights for UFC 321 and UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden

In a much-anticipated Instagram Live announcement earlier today, UFC President Dana White revealed a huge trio of title fights on the cards of UFC 321 and UFC 322. When fans consider that championship gold is on the line in both New York City and Abu Dhabi, the UFC's end-of-year Pay-Per-View schedule is shaping up as one of its more enticing in recent times.

Super fights headline UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden

It's been signed into the future calendaring and will hopefully result in the first exhibition of UFC 322 over championship fights at the renowned Madison Square Garden on November 15, 2025. Headlining the card is new UFC welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena against Islam Makhachev, the former lightweight king, who vacated his strap in May to go up to 170 pounds. If Makhachev wins, he will join a small group of two-division champions in UFC history.

The co-main is just as exciting: the women's flyweight champ Valentina Shevchenko defends her title against two-time strawweight champion Zhang Weili, who vacated her strap to move north. An all-time great pairing amongst the women of MMA, with headline stakes and legacy ramifications.

The New York card only becomes more interesting from there, with a 170-pound showdown between former champ Leon Edwards and up-and-comer Carlos Prates in a pivotal matchup with title shot implications.

Women’s title drama comes to UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi

On the other hand, UFC 321 is booked for the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 25, 2025, featuring heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall against former interim titleholder Ciryl Gane in the main event. The co-main event obviously has its own significance, as the newly vacated women's strawweight title will be on the line as Virna Jandiroba rematches Mackenzie Dern for the gold. In December 2020, Dern scored a unanimous decision win over Jandiroba, which set up this redemptive clash.UFC 321 will also see bantamweights Umar Nurmagomedov take on Mario Bautista, the pair that stars on the rise will face a major PPV test.
