Customer service point in Itkhori
Chatra: In a daylight robbery on Friday, armed miscreants looted Rs 70,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and a laptop from an SBI Customer Service Point (CSP) operator in Golkabar village under Itkhori block of Chatra district.
Four men arrived on two bikes at the CSP centre operated by Vikas Kumar. Two of them were wearing helmets while the others had their faces covered with masks. Vikas told police that one of the men initially posed as a customer, asking to withdraw Rs 10,000 from his Bank of India account. When he refused the transaction, the criminals suddenly pulled out pistols, threatened him, and forced him to open the counter. The gang looted the cash, phone, and laptop before fleeing the scene. Itkhori police launched a probe into the incident.
