DC permits RSS route march in Kembhavi

Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Harshal Bhoyar has given permission to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to hold route march in Kembhavi town in Shorapur taluk of Yadgir district on Tuesday with certain conditions.

In the order dated November 1, the Deputy Commissioner has imposed conditions and strictly instructed the RSS to adhere to government rules while conducting the march. They will be held responsible for any untoward incidents, damage to communal harmony and loss of public properties en route, the order stated.

On the request by pro-Dalit organisations to hold a route march on the same day in Kembhavi, the Deputy Commissioner has asked them to conduct it on some other day.
