Delhi-Agra Expressway crash: Several buses catch fire after collision, many feared dead; 4 bodies recovered

AGRA: At least four people were killed after a major collision involving multiple vehicles led to several buses catching fire on the Delhi–Agra Expressway amid dense fog on Tuesday, police said to news agency ANI.

The incident occurred in the early hours when a thick layer of fog severely reduced visibility, leading to what is suspected to be a major pile-up on the busy stretch of the expressway. Multiple buses were seen engulfed in flames as emergency services rushed to the spot.Rescue and firefighting operations are currently underway. Fire tenders, police teams and ambulances have been deployed, and traffic on the affected stretch has been halted.

Injured passengers are being shifted to nearby hospitals.
