Hindu students at Delhi University have issued an ultimatum calling for the removal of Halal-certified products from campus stores. The demand has sparked debate among students, with some saying such products should not be sold in university premises.

Chirag Gurjar, who is associated with the students’ group, has taken legal action in the matter. He has formally demanded that all Halal-certified items be removed from the store within 24 hours. Gurjar said the sale of such products was unacceptable and required immediate action. 

University authorities have not yet issued an official response to the demand or the legal notice.
