Dhanashree Verma cheers for Virat Kohli, ex-husband Yuvendra Chahal's team 'Punjab Kings' loses at the finals against Royal Challengers Bengaluru - PIC inside

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal just got officially divorced before the IPL kickstarted. The cricketer who plays for 'Punjab Kings' at the IPL is now rumoured to be dating RJ Mahvash. It was an unfortunate day for the Punjab Kings as they lost out on the trophy at the finals, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted the cup.

This was RCB's victory at the IPL for the first time and 18 years and cricket fans couldn't stop cheering for Virat Kohli. Incidentally, Virat's jersey number was also 18 and RCB won the trophy finally after 18 years.While her ex-husband Yuzvendra's team lost, Dhanashree was seen cheering for Virat and RCB's win. Verma took to Instagram and shared a picture of Virat and wrote, "Finally no. 18 for 18 Congratulations @virat.kohli and the team."

Recently, in an exclusive chat with ETimes, Dhanashree spoke about things written about her post the divorce. She said, "The narratives circulating around me are far from the truth. None of it reflects who I am, and I don’t engage with it because I know my values, my upbringing, and the kind of person I am. I’ve always believed in maintaining dignity and grace. Putting others down has never been my way, and it never helps anyone rise in life.

"She also revealed if at all she is open to finding love again and said that at the moment, she's just too focused on her goals. Dhanashree said, "I’ve always been extremely focused on my goals, whether it was during my time as a dentist or now in the entertainment industry… Pyaar ki baat karein, toh you can’t plan these things. Aap ye decide nahi kar sakte ke main aaj ya ek saal baad pyaar mein padhungi. Love is a different entity altogether.

What matters most to me is mera focus aur main apne life mein aage kya dekh rahi hoon."
