The post underscored the warm personal rapport between the two leaders and reflected the growing strategic partnership between India and France.

The two leaders held extensive discussions covering diverse aspects of bilateral relations.
French President Emmanuel Marcon gave a Bollywood touch to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to France by using the popular song ‘Aari Aari’ from Aditya Dhar’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ in a social media video highlighting key moments from the trip.
The video, shared by Macron on X and Instagram on Sunday, featured scenes of the two leaders greeting each other with a handshake and a hug, alongside clips from their engagements in Nice. The song played in the background as the French President recapped PM Modi’s visit.
The post underscored the warm personal rapport between the two leaders and reflected the growing strategic partnership between India and France.
Prime Minister Modi is currently on a week-long visit to France and Slovakia. During his stop in Nice, he and Macron jointly inaugurated the Bharat Innovates 2026 Conclave, a major event bringing together startups, innovators and industry leaders from India, France and across the world.
The two leaders also held bilateral talks at Villa Kerylos, their first meeting since India and France elevated their relationship to a ‘Special Global Strategic Partnership’ earlier this year.
According to official statements, the discussions covered defence cooperation, space collaboration, artificial intelligence, trade, innovation and civil nuclear energy. Both sides agreed to deepen defence ties with a focus on co-design, co-development and co-production of advanced technologies.
Technology and innovation were key themes during the visit, with the Bharat Innovates 2026 Conclave serving as a flagship event of the ongoing India-France Year of Innovation.
This is not the first time Macron has used music from ‘Dhurandhar’ in a post related to India. In February, after concluding a three-day visit to India, the French President shared a recap video featuring the film’s song ‘Na De Dil Pardesi Nu’, accompanied by the caption, “Thank you India!"
Macron’s latest post once again highlighted the close ties between the two leaders, while giving a nod to the growing popularity of Indian popular culture beyond its borders.
