The North City Corporation will organise e-khata melas in large residential apartment complexes in its jurisdiction, provided at least 100 complete applications with required documents are submitted, Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar said on Saturday.
Addressing a meeting with representatives of such complexes in Yelahanka, the Commissioner discussed issues related to e-Khata issuance. He said that based on requests raised by apartment representatives, office-bearers of apartment associations in all sub-divisions of the city corporation limits should coordinate with owners to prepare a minimum of 100 applications along with the necessary documents.
Once the applications are ready, a date would be finalised in consultation with corporation officials, following which e-khata melas would be conducted and khatas would be issued, Mr. Kumar said.
The documents required for e-khata issuance include the sale deed, up-to-date property tax paid receipts, Bescom electricity meter bill, previous khata document indicating ownership of the property, a GPS photograph of the house, and the Aadhaar card.
