Congress Working Committee (CWC) member Gidugu Rudra Raju on Friday expressed concern over the Election Commission of India ‘failing’ to probe the large scale 'vote theft' in the elections held in Bihar, Haryana, Maharastra and other States.

Mr. Rudra Raju, who toured the North Andhra region to mobilise party leaders and activists for the party’ massive rally in New Delhi on December 14, said the event would expose the ‘unholy alliance' between the Narendra Modi-led government and the ECI.

Speaking to media he said that there is a huge difference in polled votes and counted votes in States where the NDA won the elections with huge majority.

He further alleged EVM manipulation enabled the NDA alliance parties to win huge majority in the 2024 general elections. He said that ‘Vote thief, leave the throne’ campaign had gained impetus in Andhra Pradesh, supported by awareness programmes conducted by the District Congress Committees in the State.
