Educationist Mohan Kulkarni dead

Mohan R. Kulkarni of Shindholi village, a former government advocate and former chairman of Karnataka Law Society, died in Belagavi on Tuesday.

He was 82. He was suffering from some age-related ailments for some time now. He is survived by his wife, son and two daughters.

A long-time member of the Karnataka Law Society, he worked hard to advance the cause of legal education in North Karnataka. He had served as the secretary and president of the society and chairman of the governing council of Raja Lakhamagouda Law College in Belagavi.

The last rites were conducted in his native village of Shindholi.
