Eid-Milad celebrated in Kalaburagi

Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, commemorating the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad, was celebrated with traditional grandeur and religious fervour in Kalaburagi district on Friday, with the mosques and main streets in areas with a majority Muslim population being adorned with lights.

Special namaz was offered in the mosques in the evening as part of the celebrations.

The main streets of the areas, including Sangtraswadi and Muslim Chowk, Shaikh Roza, Mijgori, and Roza were decorated with colorful lighting, tableaux of holy places, and water fountains. The areas were crowded by visitors to witness the spectacular decorative lighting during the evening till late night.
