Air Chief Marshal AP Singh in Salman Khan-style said, "Ek baar jo humne commitment kar diya, to fir mein apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta."

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Thursday highlighted the use of technology in warfare in today’s era and stated that India’s recent anti-terror operation, codenamed as ‘Operation Sindoor’ was conducted very professionally.

Giving an interesting Salman Khan-style twist to India’s resolute of maximising the Indian made defence equipment, the Air Chief Marshal said, “Ek baar jo humne commitment kar diya to fir, hum apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta…(Once I make a commitment, I don’t even listen to myself afterwards)."

Speaking at the CII event, Singh highlighted the importance of Atmanirbhar Bharat and said, “We need to have trust between the forces and the companies which make defence equipment. We are trying our best to maximise the use of Make-In-India products."

“The current situation in the world has made us realise the need to become Atmanirbhar. We keep the national interest first. Let’s rise together to make this nation great," he added.
