Steve Bannon says it was the day Musk was microdosing; 'If you lay hands on Scott...'

Bannon claims Elon Musk was microdosing the day he hit Scott Bessent.

Donald Trump's former aide Steve Bannon has revealed more inside details of the day that Elon Musk hit Scott Bessent outside the Oval Office after being called a 'fraud'. Citing to 'words' what people were saying about the fight, Bannon said that was the day he was microdosing.

Microdosing is the administration of sub-therapeutic doses of drugs.

The claim goes along with the NYT report that Elon Musk had gradually become dependent on drugs as he was navigating through personal and professional crises. The 62-year-old treasury secretary fought with Elon Musk over the IRS commissioner post and Donald Trump backed Bessent's pick. After this, Scott Bessent called Elon Musk a 'fraud' and accused him of lying about government waste.

A new account of how their flight unfolded claimed that Elon Musk barelled into Bessent like a rugby player, and Bessent too hit Elon Musk bac,k requiring many people to disengage them. The White House did not deny the physical fight but played it down as spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said there have been healthy disagreements among the cabinet and Elon Musk. Leavitt said there had been times when Musk and Trump's cabinet got frustrated with one another bur they still come together to do "what's right for the people they are serving".

“I certainly wouldn’t describe it as a fist fight,” Leavitt said. “It was definitely a disagreement … But again, we’ve moved on from that. The president has moved on from it.”But the reports confirmed that it was more than a fist fight and when Trump got to know about it, he thought it was "too much". "If you lay hand on Scott Bessent, you have to go through an immediate investigation," Steve Bannon said adding that Bessent being in the line of succession is a protected person by the definition of the Secret Service. "And word is that was the day he was microdosing," Bannon added.
