Engineers told to expedite Bengaluru-Vijayawada Expressway works in Sri Sathya Sai district

District Collector T.S. Chetan on Wednesday informed the officials to speed up works on the Bengaluru-Vijayawada Expressway. The Collector inspected the NH-44 Junction at Koduru Thopu of Chilamathur mandal in Sri Sathya Sai district.

He reviewed the proposed trumpet interchange location at Km 0+280 on NH-544G, part of Package I under the greenfield highway project. The Collector highlighted the need to expedite the construction works across the district, saying that the expressway would galvanise the connectivity between Bengaluru and Vijayawada, drastically cut down travel time and distance, besides boosting the economic landscape of the district.

Mr. Chetan further directed the engineers to adhere to quality standards and ensure the timely completion of the project.
