Exclusive - Farman Haider opens up about the man who shaped his life; says 'My Father Is My Hero, Inspiration and Strength'

Father’s Day is always special for actor Farman Haider, who is currently winning hearts as the lead in producer Rahul Kumar Tewary’s show Jagadhatri. For the actor, the day is not just a celebration but also an opportunity to express gratitude towards the man he calls his biggest inspiration.Describing his father in the simplest yet most heartfelt words, Farman says, “My father is my hero, my inspiration and my strength. He has always given me the best, even when circumstances were tough. Looking back, I realise how much he sacrificed to ensure that we never lacked anything.”The actor recalls that his father was quite strict during his growing-up years, something he struggled to understand as a child. “There were times when he was strict with me, and honestly, I didn’t like it back then.

But today, I understand the reason behind it. I am a changed and respected man because of him. His discipline and values have shaped my personality in ways I truly appreciate now,” he shares. What Farman admires most is his father’s resilience. Despite facing several ups and downs in life, he never allowed his struggles to affect his family. “All my childhood, I saw him go through different phases, but he never let us get affected by any of it.

That strength is something I deeply respect and admire,” he says. The Jagadhatri actor also reveals that his father’s kindness remains his finest quality. “I am proud of my father for the man he is. The best thing about him is that he is a really good and kind soul. He has taught me that being strong and being gentle can exist together.”In fact, Farman hopes to carry forward the values he learned from his father in his own life. “I want to have both his strength and softness and become a great husband one day, just like he is for my mother,” he says.Sharing a glimpse of their bond, Farman adds with a smile, “We talk more on the phone than over text, and I think that says a lot about our relationship. He has always been there for me, and I’ll always be grateful for that.”
