World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5th, Sehban Azim exclusively shares his views on conserving nature, his love of animals and more. Take a look at what he had to share:Sehban shared, "The only practice to begin with to address every environmental issue at its core is to become aware of the fact that we have to be mindful of our environment, be aware and willing to adopt a minimalist approach and lifestyle.
Minimalism might save the world. Don’t let the world’s greatest companies fool you into believing and buying everything they are selling."He further got candid about the measures he has taken, "I’ve cut down on a lot of products that leave a carbon footprint. Nobody tells you until you do your own research. Switch to ayurvedic lifestyle and modest living. The more you read the more you’ll understand why the ancient world was built on this principle."On Sehban's love for nature, "I’ve grown up with animals around me and helping them is just like helping a human being or a friend who’s in need. We have taken over their entire fauna, so we should at least help them adjust to our environment. Also, we need to understand that we won’t be able to survive without them being in ours."Sehban shared he's inspired by Greta Thunberg, "I feel motivated when I read about Greta Thunberg. She used to say her goal was to protect the planet from climate change. Now she’s fighting for Gaza’s independence and rights. Because she’s figured it’s the capitalist system that’s responsible for imperialism, oppression, genocide, racism and all the capitalist policies that are responsible for the destruction of our environment. Being so aware at this age to address such big issues in our world and fighting for such a big cause at such a big scale is so inspiring.
She is not afraid of calling a spade a spade. She’s alone doing more than an organisation like WHO and others put together."
