Ssudeep Sahir, who was last seen in Tera Yaar Hoon Main and had made a comeback with Parineetii, recently returned from a family holiday in Vancouver. Though it was his third time in the city, he shared that it's always worth it.He said, "This trip was actually our third time visiting Vancouver—we first fell in love with the city in 2018, then again in 2022. Despite the really long flight from Mumbai, it’s always worth it for us. The city has these incredible vibes and amazing food, and we’re so lucky to have friends there who feel like family. It just keeps calling us back."For him, the city always lives up to every expectation. He said, "It’s the perfect blend of everything: so scenic with its beautiful beaches and bustling downtown, but the best part is you can be up in the mountains in under 45 minutes. The food is fabulous, and it’s a special bonus that you never get homesick with so many authentic Indian restaurants around!"
The breathtaking beauty of Vancouver has left a lasting impression on Ssudeep and his family.
"While everything from the hills to the massive university campuses is stunning, the most breathtaking spot for us this time was Whistler. It’s about an hour and a half away, known for skiing, and the views were just incredible," he said. And thus the trip became all the more special as they visited during the Canadian Thanksgiving. He said, "The local culture and hospitality were outstanding. People are so welcoming, and we had a lot of fun discovering that many of them are huge Bollywood fans! It made for some really warm and memorable interactions."
And he did not shy away from confessing that it was more about relaxation than being adventurous. He said, "This trip was definitely more about relaxation—just chilling, shopping, and, most importantly, eating! Thankfully, Anantica, Arwaan, and I all agree; we aren’t very adventurous, so it was perfect for us."Ssudeep believes in spending quality time with his family and said, "Money and work will always be there, and we’ll continue doing that, but this precious time together? It won’t come back.
So, for that reason, this holiday was incredibly special. It was all about being with the ones I love."He confessed that the most rejuvenating moments came from the simple pleasures. He said, "The most rejuvenating moments were actually the simple ones. Here in Mumbai, we hardly get time for leisurely walks, but on holiday, you’re mentally relaxed.""So the three of us would venture out for long walks in downtown Vancouver, just eating, shopping, and chit-chatting.
It was in those unhurried moments that we spent some truly great quality time together," he added. The actor is fresh and energized and is ready to get back on the set. "Now, feeling completely refreshed, I’m looking forward to getting back to work. I’m hopeful and excited to be offered a project that makes me want to jump right back to the screen," Ssudeep concluded.
