Usain Bolt - once the fastest man alive, now gets out of breath walking up the stairs. Not something the world ever thought was possible, but here we are. Bolt retired from track and field back in 2017, after winning a record 8 gold medals for sprinting, and is till date, regarded as the greatest sprinter of all time.

But 8 years since he hung up his running cleats, this recent revelation by the Jamaican Olympian has everyone shocked.

Usain Bolt makes shocking revelation

Usain Bolt is a world record holder in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4 × 100 meters relay race. There are many great athletes who have graced the race tracks and won Olympic gold in their endeavors, but none have ever come close enough to reach the heights of success like the Jamaican sprinter. At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Bolt spoke of how he is doing, almost 8 years after his retirement, shocking fans with his revelation."I mostly do gym workouts. I’m not a fan, but I think now that I’ve been out for a while, I have to actually start running because, when I walk up stairs, I get out of breath."

"When I walk up stairs, I get out of breath" - Usain Bolt on how retirement has made him human again

Worry not, he is not unwell - he has just changed his ways, and spends more time chilling than training, like he used to. He further added, "I think when I start working on it fully again, I will probably have to do some laps just to get my breathing right."Hopefully, once he starts running a little, he will no longer feel the uncomfortable burn when walking up the stairs.

After all, he is still the fastest man alive. Even retirement can't take that away from him.

Usain Bolt likes spending time with his family

With his life no longer revolving around training and the track, Usain Bolt now likes to chill and spend time with his family - especially his three kids. The Jamaican sprinter has three kids - Olympia Lightning, 5, and 4-year-old twins, Thunder and Saint, with his longtime girlfriend Kasi Bennett."Normally, I wake up just in time to see the kids off to school, and then it depends on what I have to do.

If I have nothing to do, I just chill out. I might work out sometimes if I’m in a good mood."

He also has fallen into the Lego trap, and likes to spend some time with his Legos when he gets annoyed with his kids. Seems like he is living a simple family life, when he is not going around the world, working on various projects. He might not be running on the track anymore, but Usain Bolt is still running around the world to bring some positive changes.
