Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on a three-day visit to Vijayanagara starting December 20

Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman will be on a three-day visit to Vijayanagara district from December 20 to 22, during which she will take part in a series of official programmes.

According to the tour schedule released on Friday, Ms. Sitharaman will inaugurate the Vijaya Path Project at the Amaravati Government Girls’ Pre-University College in Hosapete on December 20 at 10 a.m. She will later participate in a Chintan Shivir at Vijayashree Heritage at 11.30 a.m.

In the evening, the Union Minister is scheduled to watch the sound-and-light show at Hampi at 7.30 p.m. and stay overnight at Hampi.

On December 21, Ms. Sitharaman will launch a sapling plantation drive at 10 a.m. on the Meteorological Office premises in Kamalapur. She will then flag off the National Pulse Polio Programme at the Kamalapur Primary Health Centre at 10.30 a.m.

She will again attend the Chintan Shivir at Vijayashree Heritage at 11.30 a.m. before staying overnight at Hampi.

On December 22, the Union Minister is scheduled to depart for New Delhi at 10.40 a.m. from Vidyanagar Airport.
