Moments after Indian vessel MT Jalveer was attacked near Oman’s Shinas port, a video emerged showing the ship’s captain sending an SOS signal, informing port authorities that there was a fire in the engine room.

“Sir, please hear the coordinates," the captain said in the SOS call. “Shinas port control, this is a message from Jalveer that all crew are safe. We have a huge fire in the engine room."
