Terry Eugene Bollea, widely known by his stage name Hulk Hogan, rose to fame with his iconic handlebar moustache, colorful bandanas, and memorable catchphrases such as “Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?" He became the most recognizable figure in professional wrestling during the 1980s and early 1990s.
Hogan headlined eight of the first nine WrestleMania events and secured the WWE championship six times. He also ventured into films, TV shows, and commercials, further cementing his celebrity status.
His charisma and theatrical performances attracted millions of fans during a period when wrestling lacked the glamour it would later attain, largely thanks to Hogan’s contributions to the sport.
Hogan’s wrestling career was diverse, featuring roles from an all-American babyface hero to the villainous ‘Hollywood Hogan.’
