Patna: Union minister and LJP (RV) chief Chirag Paswan on Thursday highlighted the problems of migration and unemployment in Bihar while underlining his alliance with CM Nitish Kumar.Addressing his party’s Nav Sankalp Mahasabha at MIT ground in Muzaffarpur, Chirag reiterated his party's vision of “Bihar First, Bihari First” and attacked the RJD-Congress alliance, questioning their policies on the state’s challenges.He prominently raised the issues of migration, joblessness and discrimination against Bihar people in other states. Emphasising women’s respect and youth employment as his priorities, he unveiled a new interpretation of his ‘MY’ slogan.“For RJD and its chief Lalu Prasad, MY means Muslim-Yadav, but for me it is mahila and youth. Our priority is women’s respect and employment for youth,” Chirag said, as supporters chanted slogans of “Hamara Mukhyamantri Kaisa Ho, Chirag Paswan Jaisa Ho.”
He asserted that his party was rising above caste politics and focusing on inclusive development.Meanwhile, Hindustani Awam Morcha founder and Union minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said Chirag would “not do any wrong” by parting ways with the NDA. “NDA will respect him. He will be satisfied by giving him the winning seats,” Manjhi said at his party’s national convention in Delhi.
