Forum terms statement by Joshi, Bellad on reduced funds after bifurcation baseless

Even as the proposal for creation of Greater Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation was passed amid ruckus here on Thursday, the Dharwad Separate Municipal Corporation Development Forum has opposed the move and termed baseless the claims that allocation of funds will get reduced if the bifurcation of the corporation happened.

Forum president Venkatesh Machanur has claimed that the statement made by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and MLA Arvind Bellad lacks substance and is an attempt to mislead the public.
