A special team of East Division police has arrested four more accused in connection with the murder of rowdy and relator Shivaprakash in Bengaluru.

The accused, identified as Avinash, Sudarshan, Murgesh and Narasimha, were on the run and were tracked down from Dinnahalli village of Malur taluk. They have been taken into custody to ascertain their exact role, the police said.

A total of 11 people have been arrested in this case so far, while the prime accused, Jagadisha, is still on the run.

City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said that the department has taken the case very seriously and no one will be spared. On the alleged links of some police officials with the accused, Mr. Singh said that the probe is on to ascertain the facts.

Reportedly, Shivaprakash had filed a complaint before the police against the threat perception he had, which if acted could have prevented the murder. However, Mr. Singh said that he would look into it and take necessary action.
