With her signature wit, Farah introduced the video with, “Today, we have come to Karan Johar’s home, and he is not home right now. And this series is called ‘How poor do I want to feel’.” Safe to say, the tour did not disappoint!

Designed in part by Karan’s close friend Gauri Khan, along with interior designer Simone Dubash Pundole, the home is a perfect mix of high-end sophistication and warm, welcoming vibes. Farah began the tour with Karan’s lobby, before moving to his lounge with a bar, which has been the setting for many star-studded evenings with the likes of Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, and more.

One of the standout features? The kansa (copper)-themed guest washroom—a detail that left Farah particularly awestruck. And if that wasn’t fancy enough, Karan even stocks tiffin boxes for guests to take home as parting gifts!
