Paneer is not just an indulgence, particularly in North India, but also a dish that amps up the meals of vegetarians. The best thing about paneer as a cooking ingredient is that it is versatile and can be part of any gravy, and gels well with ingredients.
In spicy dishes, it tames the spices, and in velvety dishes, it adds to the creaminess. Packed with around 18-25g of protein in 100g, it also provides a good dose of high-content nutrients (around 200-700mg), excellent for bones: Phosphorus, Magnesium, Zinc, and Iron; Vitamin A; B vitamins (B12, B9, etc.). No wonder it is considered healthy and full of nutrition. But aren't we all tired of eating the same paneer dishes—be it Paneer Butter Masala or Shahi Paneer? Here is a list of 7 quick paneer dishes that are not just delicious but can be made in less than 20 minutes.
