Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivers the Independence Day Speech at the Red Fort on Friday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi championed the concept of an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ in his record 12th Independence Day speech at the Red Fort on Friday, stressing that a self-reliant India is what helped the armed forces give a befitting reply to Pakistan’s provocations following Operation Sindoor. The PM added that India’s self-reliance will take another major leap with Made-In-India semiconductors by the end of his year followed by plans for India’s very own space station.
