Ganesha festival: Special Trains to Hubballi, Mangaluru

South Western Railway has decided to run special train services between SSS Hubballi – Yeswantpur and Yeswantpur – Mangaluru Central stations for the benefit of the railway passengers and to clear the extra rush during the festival of ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’

SWR has also modified the services of few trains during the festival season.

SWR had earlier notified that Train Nos. 07341/07342 SSS Hubballi – Mangaluru Central – SSS Hubballi Express Special (one trip) via Yeswantpur were scheduled to run with the journey commencing on 26.08.2025 from SSS Hubballi and on 27.08.2025 from Mangaluru Central. Now, the running of these services has been modified as follows:

Train Nos. 07341/07342 SSS Hubballi–Yeswantpur–SSS Hubballi Express Special; Train Nos. 06251/06252 Yeswantpur–Mangaluru Central–Yesvantpur Express Special; and Train Nos. 06253/06254 Yeswantpur–Mangaluru Central–Yeswantpur Express Special (additional service).

Special trains

Train Nos. 07341/07342 SSS Hubballi – Yeswantpur – SSS Hubballi Express Special (1 trip):

Train No. 07341 SSS Hubballi – Yeswantpur  Express will leave SSS Hubballi at 3.30 p.m. on August 25 and reach Yeswantpur at 10.40 p.m. the same day. Train No. 07342 Yeswantpur – SSS Hubballi Express Special will depart Yeswantpur at 12:15 a.m. on August 28 and reach SSS Hubballi at 9.45 a.m. the same day.

Enroute the special train will stop at SMM Haveri, Harihar, Davangere, Birur, Arsikere and Tumakuru in both directions.

Similarly Train No. 06251 Yeswantpur – Mangaluru Central  Express Special will leave Yeswantpur at 11.55 p.m. on August 25 and reach Mangaluru Central at 11.45 a.m. the next day. In the return direction Train No. 06252 will depart Mangaluru Central at 1 p.m. on August 26 and reach Yeswantpur at 10.40 p.m. hrs the same day.

Train No. 06253/06254 Yeswantpur – Mangaluru Central – Yeswantpur Express Special (Additional Service) (1 trip):

Train No. 06253 Yeswantpur – Mangaluru Central will leave Yeswantpur at 11.55 p.m. on August 26 and reach Mangaluru Central at 11.45 a.m. the next day. In the return direction Train No. 06254 Mangaluru Central – Yeswantpur Express Special will depart Mangaluru Central at 2.15 p.m. on August 27 and reach Yeswantpur at 11.30 p.m. the same day.

Enroute stoppages for both sets of trains (06251/06252 & 06253/06254) are at Kunigal, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur and Bantawala in both the directions.
