Following a theft case, the Sadashivanagar police arrested a gang of four for allegedly stealing cash and valuables from a shop recently.
Based on a complaint filed at the Sadashivanagar police station by the owner of the Nandini milk parlour located on Temple Road, Ashwathnagar, the police analysed footage from 50 CCTV cameras to zero in on the gang.
The complainant stated that he found the shop’s door partially open in the morning. He discovered that ₹6,500 in the cash box was stolen. The locks of two adjacent grocery shops were also broken, but no items or money were taken from those shops.
During the investigation, the police explored multiple leads and apprehended the four suspects near Bandikalamma temple in Guttahalli.
The police seized an autorickshaw used in the crime and ₹15,500 in cash from the accused. The accused have been produced before the court, which remanded them to judicial custody.
