Clean Space: Clean the place, where you want to perform puja.Take Bath: Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath by adding Gangajal in the water.Set up altar: Take a wooden plank and spread red or yellow cloth. Place an idol of Goddess Gauri and Lord Ganesha. Light a diya: Light a diya with desi ghee in front of the idol. Invoking: Invoke the Goddess and Lord Ganesha by chanting mantras. Offerings: Offer boondi laddoo/modaks and durva grass to Lord Ganesha. Fruits: Offer five seasonal fruits and dry fruits also. Perform Aarti: Perform aarti to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Gauri.
