Gauri Ganesh Chaturthi is the sacred day when people offer prayers to Lord Ganesha. As the name suggests Gauri Ganesh Chaturthi, the day is purely dedicated to worship Ganesh ji. Gauri Ganesh Chaturthi 2026: Puja Rituals
Clean Space: Clean the place, where you want to perform puja.Take Bath: Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath by adding Gangajal in the water.Set up altar: Take a wooden plank and spread red or yellow cloth. Place an idol of Goddess Gauri and Lord Ganesha. Light a diya: Light a diya with desi ghee in front of the idol. Invoking: Invoke the Goddess and Lord Ganesha by chanting mantras. Offerings: Offer boondi laddoo/modaks and durva grass to Lord Ganesha. Fruits: Offer five seasonal fruits and dry fruits also. Perform Aarti: Perform aarti to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Gauri.
