'Go Princess Go' fame Yu Menglong passes away at 37: Tributes pour in

Chinese actor Yu Menglong, known for his roles in 'The Rules', 'Love Has Been Here Before', and 'Xuan-Yuan Sword: Han Cloud', has passed away at the age of 37.On September 11, his management agency issued an official statement confirming his demise, following the circulation of several reports and rumours about the actor's passing on social media.The statement read, “With unbearable sorrow, we announce that our beloved Menglong fell to his death on Sept 11. Police have ruled out any criminality. We hope he rests in peace and his loved ones remain strong".

Fans and celebrities express grief and share tributes

As soon as the news was shared online, tributes and condolences for the idol started pouring in. Fans and loved ones of the star mourned his loss and expressed their emotions online.One post read, "Yu Menglong, fly high sweetness, I wish you find Peace in heaven and God receive you in Paradise, you leave a deep pain in my heart", while another comment online read, "My condolences, maybe you are lonely and do not know how to express it, and where is the time you feel tired, rest in peace".Celebrities also paid their respects to the late actor. Actress Dilraba Dilmurat, with whom Menglong had worked for a performance in the Spring Festival Gala last year, also shared her heartfelt post about the actor. She shared, "In my memory, you have always been the gentle & sincere Bai Zhen. Later, when we met again on a show, you were still the kind & gentle Yu Menglong. Rest in peace, (you'll be) forever missed..."

Lai Yi also shared his condolences for the actor, sharing that, "It is really hard to accept this news. May you, like the warmth and gentleness you possess, rest in peace in another world".
