Government appoints new members to SC Commission and welfare boards in Andhra Pradesh

Dr Pakanati Gowtham Raj, nominated as member of AP state SC Corporation from Jana Sena Party, Yerragondapalem.

The State government has appointed five members to the Andhra Pradesh State Scheduled Caste Commission, as well as directors and members to the Micro, Small and Medium Industries Development Board. Dr. Pakati Gowtam Raj from the Jana Sena Party, along with four members from the Telugu Desam Party — Rachapudi Suresh, Mukku Adinarayana, Babu Sripathi and Biksham Mekala — have been appointed to the SC Commission. Orders to this effect were issued on Monday. The government also issued orders appointing directors and members to the Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Board, Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation, AP Kalinga Komati and Kalinga Vaisya Welfare and Development Boards, AP State Dasari Welfare and Development Society, AP State Modaliar Welfare and Development Corporation, AP Nagavamsam Welfare and Development Corporation, and the AP State Sagara/Uppara Welfare and Development Corporation. Leaders from the Telugu Desam Party, Jana Sena Party and Bharatiya Janata Party have been named as directors and members in the various welfare boards and corporations.
