Government urged to clear PF, gratuity and other benefits of retired employees

Andhra Pradesh Government Pensioners Welfare Association members on Saturday (August 16, 2025) urged the State government to clear all pending applications related to the payment of provident fund, gratuity, earned leaves and other benefits of the retired officials and staff.

The members held a meeting on the occasion of the association’s foundation day. Speaking on the occasion, association president P. Ramachandra Rao and Vizianagaram District president Ramachandra Panda said that a majority of the retired employees are facing financial struggles.

Mr. Ramachandra Rao demanded that the hard earned money saved by the employees should be paid on the last working day of every employee. Mr. Ramachandra Panda said that appointment of new Pay Revision Commission (PRC) was the need of the hour, and added that PRC might recommend interim relief for retired officials.

Uttar Pradesh High Court Additional Registrar Vidya Sagar, A.P. Government Employees Association State Secretary L. Yugandhar and others were also present.
