The Governor hailed the university administration for allocating 15% seats in various courses to the children of farm workers. He complimented the authorities for improving the National Institute of Ranking Framework rank of the university from 37 to 24 in one year and wished further improvement in standards.

On the plea of university authorities to allow convocation for the last three pass-out batches in 2026, the Governor assured to finalise the dates soon. Mr. Janaiah said about 2,800 UG, PG and Ph.D degree holders would attend the convocation likely to be held in February.
