The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a strict directive to authorities in Indore to ensure the immediate supply of clean drinking water to residents affected by contamination. Following a tragedy where filthy water reportedly led to nine deaths and left over 200 people critical, the Indore bench ordered the administration to provide regular water tankers and the best possible medical treatment to victims. During the hearing, the court emphasized that the 'beauty of Indore' must not be compromised and demanded accountability for the lapse. A status report has been filed, and the matter is set for further hearing on the 6th of January. The court also insisted that additional water tankers be deployed to the affected areas immediately.
